Each year Lynette Silver escorts a tour group to Singapore and Borneo for Anzac Day and at other times as required. The emphasis is on the Singapore-Sandakan POW experience, but not exclusively so, with cultural activities and sight-seeing playing an important part. The full tour begins in Singapore, taking in all major World War II sites. The group then moves to Borneo, following in the footsteps of the POWs, and visiting Sandakan, Ranau, Kota Kinabalu and Labuan. The tour party also has the unique and exclusive opportunity to walk along a section of the death march track, identified and opened in March 2006 by Lynette and trekking expert Tham Yau Kong. Private commemorative services are held at the major POW sites, and tour members participate in the Dawn Service, held on Anzac Day. The itinerary is flexible, allowing for a Borneo-only tour, as well as extensions in Sabah and Singapore and onward travel to other destinations. Each tour is tailored specifically to meet the needs of the group and is personalised to individual members of the party. For further details, please contact :
